Mission Statement

Ending Pet Overpopulation by Desexing the Global Population of Stray Dogs and Cats

Over 700 million stray dogs and cats roam the streets globally, often hungry and sick, with their numbers growing exponentially due to lack of spay and neuter programs to control their population. Their plight, affects the human communities who love them.

The Stray Dog Foundation is working to create better lives for both animal and human communities by:

Investing in research and development of an affordable and scalable non-surgical sterilization technology to end pet overpopulation.

Working to improve the welfare of these stray and homeless dogs and cats by delivering supplies and reflective dog collars to local veterinary professionals and animal welfare workers.

Delivering Life Saving Supplies

Meeting Local Needs

We work with local animal welfare workers who have their boots on the ground to understand the obstacles, challenges and needs specific to their population of stray dogs and cats. We offer immediate and long term help in the form of delivery of pharmaceuticals and supplies to veterinary clinics and front-line animal welfare workers in the areas that will best benefit the population of stray dogs and cats.
